On Affected Land: Elk and Deer (Seasonal),
Cottontail, Burrowing Rodents
B. The mine will be operated from not earlier than
Hay 1st to not later than October 10th. By Nay 1st,
the Deer and Elk have usually migrated to higher
pasture and the operation is shut dawn before they
migrate back into the area.
C. There are no threatened or endangered species on
the affected land or in the vicinity.
D. Because of the small size of this operation, the
existing wildlife has been disturbed very little.
There is very little to no grass or trees in the
Pit area so the temporary loss of habitat is nil.
The area will be reclaimed a little at a time with
a grass suitable for Elk and Deer winter range.
