SUBJECT: Application for Mining and Reclamation Permit
Craig Pit, La Plata County, Colorado
ATTN: Mr. George Hopkinson
Dear Rade:
In an effort to provide a complete and adequate Application for the
Craig Pit, I am enclosing the following documents for addition and
revision to the original application of July 30, 1976. These changes
and additions are based on changes to the affected area boundary, your
letter of August 24, 1976, and your field visit during the week of
October 11, 1976. Five copies of each item are attached.
Please replace the original Mining Plan, Reclamation Plan, Location
Description, County Approval Letter, Cost Estimate, General Map,
Estimated Timetable, and Lease with the enclosed documents.
Additional items being provided include Reclamation Map, Owner of
Substance to be Mined, Adjacent Land Owner, Air Quality Review,
and a letter from the Colorado Department of Health concerning this
operation.
A check in the amount of One Hundred, Twenty Dollars is being sent
under separate cover. This amount is to cover the increase in the
affected area from 11 acres to the new figure of 18.3 acres.
