May 23, 1995
989
Green Brothers, Inc.
,9„ P. O. BOX 858, FORT MORGAN, COLORADO 80701
TELEPHONE: 303 867-2404
DIVISION OF MINERALS AND GEOLOGY
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
RE: Addendum to Application, File No. M-95-030
ATTN: Andy Moore
Dear Andy:
~FC;FIVEn
MAY 2 5 1Q95
pivision ~~ ~•`"1e',~s a c,eologY
This is to acknowledge your letter of May 22, 1995 and to respond
to your request for additional information. Our replies are
numbered to correspond to the questions:
(1) The maps have been signed by a Registered Professional
Engineer and are included under separate cover. This was an
oversight on our part.
(2) The dike and berms have been added to MAP ES above and the
drainage ditch has been drawn in and labeled.
(3) We will stand by our $3500.00 estimate for final reclamation
because we are currently closing a permit of comparable size and
at this time we are well within budget.
(a) MAP E2 has been modified to reflect the phases of
development as we now see it. We anticipate 2 1/2 Acres
stripped for mining and 1 Acre for topsoil, overburden piles
and haul road for each phase. Earthwork, shaping and seeding
will be completed fior each phase at the time the next phase
is stripped out,
(b) We estimate phase I to generate 2000 cu yds of topsoil
of which 360 will be used immediately fior reclamation and the
balance to be stockpiled. An additional 13000 cu yds over-
burden will be stockpiled on the West end ofi the permitted
area to expedite removal with trucks.
1
