F-101 <br />REr Whinnery Pit OM-98-055 Adequacy Review; Additional Information ~~o ono ~ 8 GeolagJ, <br />Deaz Mr. Oswald: <br />Please attach this letter to our written response to your Adequacy Review Letter dated July13, <br />1998. <br />For further clarification, the scale house on the site will be portable and will consist of both a <br />portable house and scale. <br />The potential vegetation on the site is spazse. The predominate soil type is Bosler Sandy Loam <br />which is located in the Mountain Outwash range site. This soil type is medium textured or <br />moderately coazse texured and in places aze gravelly, channery, or cobbly. Water capacity, when <br />available, is low to high and permeability is slow to rapid. <br />The vegetation consists of grasses and forbs and a few scattered shrubs. Arizona fescue is the <br />dominant grass. Mountain muhly, muttongrass, and Indian ricegrass aze next in abundance. <br />Forbs are showy cinquefoil, Indian paintbrush, rose pussytoes, and Fremont geranium. Common <br />shrubs and half shrubs aze wax curzant, fringed sage, winterfat and Douglas rabbitbrush. <br />Thank you for adding this additional information to our Adequacy Review Letter.
