RE: File number 81-287; Arnusch Gravel Pit number 3: The north <br />pit, as illustrated on Exhibit C, will apparently affect areas outside <br />of Sand Creek's creek bed, including banks and riparian vegetation. This <br />condition also exists for Crow Creek RE: File number 81-293; Bashor Gravel <br />Pit number 2. For these twg applications, please address how bank <br />stability will be provided. Additionally, the applications should <br />address how the continued stability of the creek will be provided during <br />mining and reclamation. AZI stockpiles should be located parallel to <br />the creeks and as far from the banks as possible. If cottonwood trees <br />will be affected, please indicate their location on Exhibit C. Finally, <br />please explain why topsoil salvage will not occur on areas outside of <br />the creeks. <br />7. The Mined Land Reclamation Board will consider these applications <br />at the January 27-28, 1982 Board meeting. Prior to that time, please <br />submit all proofs of publication and notifications of adjacent owners <br />of record.
