<br />Shn]DA1' P1INE <br />EYNIBIT J <br /> <br />The Sunday ^`.ine is located on the South wall of Big Gynsum Valley. <br />host of the site is located on steeply sloping shale outcrops that 61end <br />into a gently sloping and rolling valley floor having a northern aspect. <br />Ti:? s=eep hillsides are visual~y dominated by scattered }~inyor. and juni^er <br />of G to S feet in height. Actual cover is estimated to be approximately <br />1G`;; consisting of the follocsing: 10% Pinyon-Sunioer, 14% Sma11 Sage- <br />brush, 43% grasses (Galleta 26%, Indian Ricegrass 17°; and Blue ..^,ra~una <br />2%), 21`/, Russian Thistle with the rest consisting of Cactus, Yucca., <br />Snakeeaeed and other miscellaneous forbs. <br />The valley floor is dominated by grasses with some scattered :shrubs <br />and juniper. Vegetation cover is estimated at 15% consisting of the <br />fallowing: 51% P.ussian Thistle, 34% grasses (Galleta 21%, Blue Grnmma <br />10 Indian Ricegrass 3%), 4% Snakeweed, 11% Big Sagebrush, Juniper, <br />Shadscale Saltbush, Cactus and miscellaneous forbs. <br />
