Prohibited discharges include substances such as wash water, paint, automotive Bulds, <br />solvents, oils or soaps. SOlld Waste -The Solid Wastes Dlspaael Sites and Facnldes Act C.R.S. 30-Zq-"IDq, et al, and Regulations <br />Pertaining [o Solid Waste Disposal Sites and Facilities (8 CCR 1007-2), prohibit solid waste disposal without an approved CeNBcate <br />of Designation (a tandBlt partntt). The Colorado Hazardous Waste Act C.R.S. 25-15301 et at, and the Colorado Hazardous Waste <br />Regulations (6 CCR 7007-3) prohibit the transfer, storage or disposal (TSD) of hazardous waste except at permlUrtd TSD sites. There <br />are no pertnttted landfills or TSD sites within the State Highway Right of Way. Therefore, ell solid or hazardous wastes that might be <br />generated by the aciivitics of entitles entedng the Stale Highway Right of Way must be removed from the ROW and disposed oT at a <br />pertnilted facility or designated collretan point (e.g„ For solid waste, a utility or eonslruUion company's own dumpster). If preexisting <br />solid waste or hazardous materials contamination (inducting oil or gasoline contaminated soli, asbestos, Mem;cals, mine tailings, etc.) <br />is encountered during the performance of work, the pertnittee shall halt work in the affeUed area and immediately confect the COOT <br />Regional Permitting Office for diroclion ae to how tq proceed.
