Dear Mr. Mount:
This project site has been reviewed and the site has been visited in company with
Mr. Drayton Harrison of the Walden district.
The site ie adjacent to a highway and on a northeast facing elope. The vegetation
ie composed of mainly sage brush with an underetory of grasses and fortis and
indicates rather heavy use by livestock.
Wildlife use is rather light due to the proximity of the highway, the slope which is
prone to hold snow and the fact it ie usually only migrating deer and elk that use
it to any extent. Grouse use the area on occasion, however, there are no known lake
on the site.
It is recommended that the area be graded and eloped to be commensurate with adjoing
landform, reseeded to SCS specifications, and protected from grazing until the new
seeding ie established.
