MacNamara -itches. Trappec personnel have inquired about the screening
• interval Eor [his well. Unfortunately, neither the owner of the well (Mr.
Mack) nor the State District 6 Water Court have information on well depth,
water elevation or construction practices. The person who completed the well
(G.I. Buffham) was also contacted. To the best of his knowledge, the well was
completed in alluvial material. The driller was confident that the completion
zone was less than 400 feet.
In order for mining to impact the source of water Eor the well, the completion
zone muse be at least 400 feet deep. One will not intercept the Third White
Sandstone at the well site at depths less than 400 feet.
Trapper Ftining Inc. will replace the water supply of any owner of a vested
water right which is proximately injured as a result of the Trapper Mine. The
Twenty Mile Sandstone would probably be the aquifer which would be used to
replace the supply.
•`
• 4-2266
R~yISED JAN 7 '88
