• Well 81-03a is completed in the Third White Sandstone.
Figure A-37 presents the water-level elevation data for well 81-
03a. Well head pressures for flowing well 81-03a were converted
to water-level elevation . Water levels presented for the
monitoring period have considerable scatter.
The Glux-1 well was completed in the First White Sandstone
in September 1988 in order to monitor pre-mine conditions
upgradient of the Lux domestic well prior to mining in Browning
and Colt pits. Water levels for well Glux-1 are presented on
Figure A-38.
2.2 GROUND WATER-LEVEL ELEVATION
• Three piezometric maps were developed to show the water level
flow patterns for the OR, HI and Third White Sandstone aquifers
at Trapper Mine. Water levels from the Fall of 1989 were used in
the development of these maps.
Map No. 2-1 presents the water-level elevations for the OR
aquifer. The GP series wells that are shown on this map are the
wells installed for the eastern portion of the permit . The
water-level elevation is shown for the OR wells, GA1 , GD2, GE1 ,
GF6, GP1 , GPS and GP6 and backfill wells GD3 and GF11 . The
ground-water flow in the OR aquifer is mainly to the north.
Mining has affected the OR aquifer only close to the D and E pits
by causing drawdowns very near the pit edges. The installation
of backfill wells GD3 and GF11 have defined the depressed
• elevations in the backfill areas. The backfill water levels will
2-14
