Attached is the reclamation cost estimate for Bowie No. 2 Mine's Minot Revision 67 -
two gob vent boreholes, drill pads and tight-use road spur. The estimate is eight tasks (a
summary sheet and tasks 231-237) and represents an increase in liability of $19,998.00.
This estimate is $3,421.00 more than the Estimate provided by BRL (of $16,577.00).
The Division's higher estimate is mainly due to an estimated 24 hours to seal the GVB's
vs. 16 hours in the BRL estimate and a higher cost to regrade and replace topsoil on the
drill pads and light-use road spur.
