<br />u <br />3-62 ~ <br />cREi;Lr~ sE~clEs <br />These are well drained, moderately coarse textured, terrace soils <br />developing in moderately coarse textured, calcareous, stratified water <br />lain materials which have been derived from a variety of parent rocks, <br />buried subsoils often occur. <br />These soils occupy the level to gently sl.opng high terraces, the "fan- <br />li.ke" areas at tho mouth of small draina~~e ways and occur on the moderately <br />coarse textured flood plains of the larLer intermittent streams of the <br />uplands. <br />The Greeley soils a.re moderately productive soils. They have a moderate <br />crater holding capacity; are easily tilled over a wide range of moisture <br />content and are moderately rapid in permeability. <br />SOIL PROFILE <br />Surface Soil <br />0-8 inches, grayish brown fine sandy loam. Very friable, with <br />fine granular structure; non calcareous. <br />,,~ Subsoil <br />. 8-29 inches, grayish brown and brown sandy loams.
