•
made a part of this plan. Following is a list of structures and associated mine facilities
planned or constructed at the present time:
1) Office buildings and scalehouse - 12' x 60' (mobile unit).
2) Portable scales.
3) Change-room and showers (mobile unit) 20' x 40'.
4) Mobile in-pit screening unit, coal storage area (See Map 5-2).
5) Employee parking area - 140' x 295' (approximately).
6) Equipment storage yard - 2 acres.
7) Explosive storage van (prill) - 8' x 40' (Mobile).
8) Portable detonator magazine - 10' x 20'.
9) Portable dynamite storage magazine - 10' x 20'.
10) Fresh water (industrial) well.
l l) Domestic water storage tank - 20' x 20'.
12) Coal staging area.
•
Prior to construction of the facilities, al] topsoil was salvaged and stored (see 2.05.3(5)
and Map 5-1). The facilities were located and constructed according to the particular
specifications for that structure. There are no specific design criteria for the particular
structures other than criteria assigned in designing the sediment contro] system and the
air pollution control measures, both of which are described in this section.
E~sting FaciGBes
There are no regulated existing structures on-site prior to mining and as a result, there
are no compliance plans, or designs which are required by this section.
Roads, Conveyors, and Rai! Systems

No rail systems or overland conveyors are planned at this time. One haul road from
the pit to the staging area as shown on Map 5-1 has been constructed. The haul road
described below has been designed to comply with the design specification of Rule
4.03.1. The road is approximately 4,000 feet long and the overall grade will be five
percent (5%).
Haul road specifications are contained in Appendix 5-1 which includes profiles and
other specifications such as width, gradient, surface specifications, cut and fill
information and culvert and ditch information. Specific discussions on the care and
maintenance of the outslopes of the haul road have also been described in Appendix 5-
1. Road designs have been reviewed and certified by a registered professional engineer
as set forth in Appendix 5-1. Oakridge's haul road has been designed to ensure that the
construction, maintenance and post-mining conditions of the haul road into and across
the site will control erosion, siltation and the pollution of water entering and leaving the
Technical Revision OS (v 1.3) 5-9 Revised 9/1997
