Colorado Sand and Gravel Company - "Sandy Acres Pit" - File No. M-81-159
Dear Mr. Siegrist:
On December 18, 1985, the Mined Land Reclamation Division took the following
actions:
1. A succession of operators and transfer of Permit No. M-80-110 from
Henderson Development Company to Colorado Sand and Gravel Company was approved
conditioned upon receipt of the Performance Warranty and Financial Warranty in
the amount of E79,940.00 for the new amended permit (copies of forms enclosed).
2. The amendment application which enlarges the Adams Pit permit area to
75.75 acres and absorbs the permit area of the Sandy Acres Pit was approved
contingent upon final approval by the Adams County Commissioners (scheduled
for December 31, 1985). The total financial warranty for the new expanded
permit area was set at E79,940.00.
Upon receipt of the Performance and Financial Warranties as described above
and written verification of approval of the amendment by the Adams County
Commissioner, the succession of operators to your company will become
effective, and I will return Henderson Development Company's existing
financial warranty. Furthermore, the approved amendment will also then go
into effect. Finally, File No. M-81-159 will then be terminated due to its
absorption into File No. M-80-110. You and Henderson Development Company will
receive notification of all of these actions upon receipt of the warranties
and verification of County approval. I also plan to issue a new, amended
permit to your company (having the original anniversary date, however) for
purposes of clarity in the future.
