Ryan and Son, lnc. - Leyden Pit; Permit No. 83-139
Dear Peter:
The followinl3 is in response to your adequacy review dated
January 17, 1985.
Exhibit C = Macs
Public Service Company approval of mining within 100 feet of
the water well and power lines and agreements of relocating the
water well pipeline will be furnished when available. No mining
will be undertaken closer than 200 feet to these facilities until
such permission is granted.
Exhibit D = Minincl Plan
The operator agrees to stake the permit boundary to insure
operations stay within the permitted area.
To maintain soil quality and quantity, the operator agrees to
slope stockpiles no greater than 3:1 and seeded with a cover crap
if it is to remain longer than one growing season.
Access road activities were not included in the permit
application because no changes are to occur as a result of
proposed mining operations. The landowner requires access to
property at all times for Public Service maintenance and various
other activities. The present access road would suffice mining
operations easily. This is a favor the landowner asked for and
granted by the operator.
Engineering & Environmental Services
•c yr
l~~_~i
