6.4.4 Exhibit D -Mining Plan <br />Nature of the Deposit <br />Overburden thickness ranges from 1.5 to 7 feet. The average overburden <br />thickness is approximately 3.5 feet. Average topsoil thickness is approximately <br />1 ft. <br />The sand and gravel deposit to be mined varies in thickness from 20 to 38.5 feet, <br />with an average thickness of approximately 30.5 feet. It varies from sandy lean <br />clay in the upper zones, to coarse clayey sand and sand with gravel nearer the <br />bedrock. The gravel typically found in this area has a history for being processed <br />into high-quality concrete aggregates other construction material aggregate. <br />The underlying strata on the property is a claystone bedrock. <br />Commodities <br />The primary commodity is sand and gravel to be used for the construction <br />industry.
