EXHIBIT - S
Permanent Man-Made Structures
This operation will not adversely affect any man-made structure on the site, or within
200 feet of the affected azea of the project. The Reservoir Spring is approximately one
mile north of the mine, and it will not be affected. There are no other water rights
recorded in the area.
The only permanent Man-Made Structures within 200 feet of the Powderwash Pit #66
Gravel Mine is County Road #66B, and #66, and an unimproved access road as shown on
Exhibit C-1. If it becomes necessary to relocate any of these roads, Moffat County will
re-construct them with a 4:1 embanlQnent slope into the excavation azea.
Moffat County will maintain a 4:1 grade in all of the excavations in order to protect
the stability of the soil neaz the man-made improvements listed above. The stability of the
man-made structures within 200 feet of the affected area will not be threatened or de-
stabilized, therefore, under the doctrine of good judgment and common sense, there is no
necessity to exercise a notarized agreement with the owners of these structures under
Exhibit S, and the Geotechnical Stability Exhibit.
EXHIBIT - S
Permanent Man-Made Structures
