As I understand, you <br />' are preparing submittals to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Doard <br />Eor the three areas. The following information relates to the sites. <br /> 1. Pierce Site: The subject property is located in the W7•g <br /> of Section 7, TBN, R65W. The current gravel operation is <br /> a legal non-conforming use and as such can continue <br /> operation with no further County action required. Based <br />' upon my information, the proposed application does not <br /> exceed the boundaries of the accepted non-conforming us~~ <br /> area and therefore will not be constituted as an <br /> expansion. <br /> 2. Koenig Site: The subject property is located in the SK'; <br /> of Section 18, T2N, R66W and the SE4 of Section 13, T2N, <br />' R67W. That portion of the site located in Section 18 <br /> has been approved for gravel extraction by the County. <br /> The portion of. the site located in Section 13 has not <br /> at this time had appropriate approval by the County to <br /> permit gravel extraction. <br />3 <br /> The location in Section 13 is currently zoned "A" Agri- <br />F' cultural. Said zone district does permit surface mine <br /> activity upon approval of appropriate permits. Further, <br />1 the location is identified as being within the "Resource <br /> <br /> .. <br />
