<br /> E. Topsoil Management Plan <br /> The topsoil management plan will consist of the following ite~~~s: <br /> 1. Strip the top 6 inches to 1 foot of topsoil with a scraper <br /> type machine. <br /> 2. Using the scraper, relocate the topsoil to the north, east, <br />' and south edges of the site. <br /> 3. build screening mounds with the topsoil about 20-30 feet r•,ide <br /> and 3-5- feet high. <br /> 4. Some extra topsoil taken from the west parcel could be used <br /> along the perimeters of the other two parcels, if necessary <br />' for adequate revegetation. <br /> F. Revegetation Plan <br /> The planned revegetation is for the perimeters of the three parcels. <br /> Trees and shrubs will help provide some cover and nesting <~reas <br />i for wildlife using the ponds, and reduce impacts from vehicular <br /> traffic along the County Roads. <br /> Preferred species - Cottonwood and IJillow trees are preferred. <br /> htethods of planting - Small 5 foot trees will be transplanted <br /> from along the old river channel to locations surrounding the <br />' future ponds. <br />' P.vailability of species -These trees are available in great <br /> nwnbers. <br />' Proposed time - Planting could begin inwiediately after the su•een- <br /> ing mound/roadways are constructed the first year. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I <br />~• <br />
