5'Cf'LL 7tlUo
Dilv~iOq °f Reciamai~~a,
EXHIBIT G -Water Information ig `n` S4,t y
1) The operation is not expected to directly affect surface or groundwater systems. This
project will not have any water requirements for its operation. The only surface water
would be drainage that occurs because of a heavy rainfall. Rainfall in the area ranges
from 15 to 19 inches per year. The site will generally not be impacted by water. The
water table in the area is substantially below the surface, in most cases from 150' to 200'
deep.
2) We are filing a stormwater management plan with the Water Quality Control Division
of the Colorado Department of Health.
EXHIBIT H -Wildlife Information
Notice has been sent to the local wildlife conservation officer concerning the proposed
112 gravel pit. Common species in northeast Colorado could include bird species of
Cassin's sparrow, chestnut collared longspur, lazk bunting, western meadowlazk, and
ferruginous and Swainsan's hawks. Small mammals that might be found include white-
tailed and black-tailed jackrabbit, badger, pronghorn antelope, coyote, swift fox, plains
pocket gopher, long-tailed weasel, and several species of mice. Reptiles might include
the western rattlesnake, race snake, western box turtle, and six-lined racerunner. Other
animals and birds common to Logan County could also be found at the site from time to
time.
Based on several visits to the site, no significant wildlife was observed. The site
adjoins additional grassland areas that hazbor the same wildlife. There are no known
threatened or endangered species. The applicant anticipates no significant impact on
wildlife.
