SEP 2 2 7006
EXHIBIT E -Reclamation Plan D~v~~'on of Reclamation,
fwin~ng snu S&~~ry
The pit will be re-seeded when completed and used for grazing after the grass has been
re-established. The seeding of grass could provide some very limited wildlife habitat,
but that will be incidental to the use of rangeland.
a) The stockpiled topsoil will be replaced before seeding of the pit occurs. There
is very limited topsoil on the Dix-Eckley soil complex. NRCS reports
indicate that the topsoil is 3-4" in depth. All of the stockpiled topsoil will be
returned, but we anticipate this to be in the 3-4" depth range.
b) Slopes no greater than 3:1 will be left in the completed pit.
c) Any internal haul roads will be reclaimed as the pit is closed. There aze no
access roads to the pit that will be reclaimed. The existing access roadway is
used for access to wind generation towers in Section 11.
d) There aze no other reclamation treatments to note for this site.
e) A cost estimate for final reclamation has been prepazed and is attached.
Reclamation rough sloping will occur as material is taken, leaving minimal work to be
completed when final reclamation occurs. A seeding recommendation from the Logan
County NRCS is attached and will be the basis of re-seeding.
