EXHIBIT B
Mining Plan:
This is a s tream bed operation. There is no vegetation
in the gravel source of the stream.
The area on the south bank of the creek is the area
that will be used for storage, parking and worki7~g.
This area will not have the topsoil removed, b~.rt.will have
~~~~ ~~ ~~~~ to be revegitated. ~
The gravel will be dozed into a pile on the working
area then loaded into county dump trucks with a Ifront-
end loader.
Although this is a streambed operation it is normally
a dry creek and no surface or sub-surface water fights
will be affected.
T he depth of the gravel in the streambed will vary from
2 to 4 feet in thickness.
The water hole shown on C-1 is intermittent and is used
by cattle when available. It has no affect on the
mining operation.
There appears to be a good supply of gravel on the north
bank of the stream, but this has not been develo~ed at
this time. 'when it is needed the top soil will e saved
and stored on the north shore at the east end of the
operation.
Direction of mining will be from east to west
Not over 70,000 tons a material will be mined in any
one year.
No haul road will need to be constructed. The ranch
road can be used.
This mine will not be used more tY.an 1$0 days in dny year.
The mine will be used periodically when the road Brews are
working in the area. The mine will be considered active
until time for reclamation.
stockpiling is not planned,. but if it becomes necBssary
the stockpiles will be for short duration and wil~ be
placed on the southside of the creek above the hi h
water mark.
