Please state whether bulk fuel or other <br />petroleum products will be stored on site. If so, provide your plan to contain 110% of a <br />potential spill from all such bulk storage. Describe in detail how the containment <br />facility/facilities will be constructed. If they aze earthen, describe the material to be used <br />and the degree of compaction. Also, state whether sand, soil or other material will be <br />used to soak up spills and describe the disposal of spilled materials. If the <br />facility/facilities aze to be constructed of concrete or other material provide plans for their <br />construction and plans for disposal of spills. If your SPCC plan includes all of the <br />requested information for this item, you can include a copy of it in your Exhibit C for <br />Division review and approval. <br />Your mining plan includes the intention of using or storing toxic materials (asphalt batch <br />plant materials and/or bulk petroleum products) in the proposed permit area. The <br />Division requires the following condition of approval. <br />CONDITION - 2 <br />A reportable spill is a spill of any toxic or hazardous substance (including spills of <br />petroleum products) within the permit area reportable to any Division of the Colorado <br />Department of Public Health and the Environment, the National Response Center, the <br />Colorado Emergency Planning Commission, a local Emergency Planning Commission, <br />or the State Oil Inspector. The operator shall notify the Office of a reportable spill within <br />the permit azea using the same timeframe required by the permit, license, notice, Act, <br />Rule or Regulation governing the reporting of the spill to the appropriate agency. Notice <br />of a reportable spill shall be Faxed to: Minerals Program Supervisor, Division of <br />Minerals and Geology, FAX (303) 832-8106.
