I am responding to your letter of May 17 , 1983
requesting further clarification of the Marathon Gold Joker
mine and pilot plant permit . The items are responded to in
order .
1 . Reference - Letter dated May 18 , 1983 from Mr . Bill Wray
of Van-Cott , Bagley , Cornwall & McCarthy .
2 . The access road from County Road 17 to the area of applica-
tion is 1400 feet long and 32 feet in width . This area
will equal 1 .03 acres . Please add this additional acreage
to our proposed permitted area . The total acreage applied
for is now 161 .03 acres .
3 . A. Area "C"., fine reject material temporary stockpile , is
located in the "middle dam area" .
B. Area "F" , Adjudicated water storage area , is located
in the upper dam area .
C. Water in the upper dam area will be directed around the
"middle dam area "C" to the "lower dam area" via a ditch .
