Miller
4032 County Road 166
Elizabeth, Colorado 80107
Re: Miller Gravel Pit and Mine; File No. 82-112
Dear Mr. Miller:
I have reviewed the supplementary materials that you submitted to complete your
application for a 112 permit for the above captioned operation. Our Division
has received a copy of the review of this proposed operation by the Division
of Wildlife, and I have enclosed a copy for your files. This application is
now considered complete, and I have enclosed a copy of our "Complete on
Previously Incomplete" form letter. The format that you must use for your
4 sequential weeks of publication is given on the back of this form letter.
I suggest that you begin publication in a local newspaper as soon as possible.
If there are any landowners immediately adjacent to the proposed permit area,
they should each be sent a copy of the first publication by certified mail,
with the green return receipts (or copies thereof) to be sent to our Division.
Although this application is now complete (all exhibits having been submitted),
it is not yet adequate for Board approval. I will be reviewing the application
for adequacy in the near future and writing you a letter that will ask any
questions that I may have. For now, I will mention one item that you should
begin to prepare. The map requirements for exhibits C and F are outlined at the
beginning of Rule 2.12 and in sections (3) and (6) of this Rule. Topographic
maps of an appropriate scale, having contour lines, and giving the information
outlined in Rule 2.12 should be submitted to our Division. I suggest that you
have an appropriate professional prepare these maps. (as per Rule Z.12).
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions in this matter.
Sincerely,
~~~ ~:
Mark S.
