• z.oa.~(1)
Current Water Ouality Monitoring Plan continued from cage 2.04-30
• North Fork of the Gunnison River
- June and December, Field Parameters and laboratory
analysis for conductivity, total dissolved solids, total
suspended solids, iron and Manganese
• Annual hydrologic report due March 15th of each year
Field parameters include either flow or depth to water, pH,
conductivity and temperature.
Flow for the North Fork of the Gunnison River will be obtained from
the USGS Somerset water stage recorder for both upstream and
downstream flows. The gaging station is located in the SE~SW~ of
Section 10, Township 13 South, Range 90 West in Gunnison County
approximately 2.3 miles east of Somerset and 4.8 miles upstream
from Hubbard Creek. The recorder is located on the south bank of
the river across from the reclaimed Hawksnest Silos. The gage is
a water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry.
I • Annual Samoling and Analysis of Alluvial Wells AA1 and AA3
Alluvial wells AA1 and AA3 are analyzed annually for the parameters
shown on Table 4F, Alluvial Well Parameter List. The location of
the wells are shown on the Facilities Map (Map 10).
Stioulation No. 32 Monitoring Requirements
The Operator shall submit to the Division an annual report of
inflows, discharges and consumption of water within the mine. A
mine workings map showing the source, (fault, fracture, etc.),
quantity, duration, and quality of the inflows shall be required
only if there are measurable inflows to the mine during the year.
Records of water discharged from, consumed in, and imported to the
mine shall be maintained. The above information will be submitted
with the annual hydrology report.

2.04-30b Rev. 12-26-95
