<br />CDOW has mapped mule deer winter range in the lower elevations at the west and north
<br />edges of the study area, and critical winter ranges (winter concentration area and severe
<br />winter range) in small areas along the North Fork and Minnesota Creek, as shown on
<br />Figure 15A, Mule Deer Winter Ranges. Mule deer summer range is mapped throughout
<br />the study area. CDOW has mapped elk winter range in the northern and western study
<br />area, and critical elk winter ranges (winter concentration area) in a small part of the study
<br />area north of the North Fork, as shown on Figure 15B, Elk Winter Ranges. The entire
<br />study area is mapped as elk summer range, but no summer concentration areas or elk
<br />production areas are mapped in or near the study area. No migration corridors for elk or
<br />mule deer are mapped in or near the study area.
<br />The entire study area is mapped by CDOW as overall range for black bear and mountain
<br />lion. No fall or summer concentration areas for black bear are mapped in or near the
<br />study area.
