According to the Soil Survey of Routt County, Colorado, (United States Department of
Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service, 1998 (draft)), there are eight major soil types within the
proposed project site:
1. Cochetopa loam
2. Matmore-Becks complex
3. Cumulic Cryoborolls
4. Menbar loam
S. Inchau-Jerry complex
6. Cryoborolls, Cryorthents soils
7. Elkhead clay loam
8. FusulinaG, -Skyway, grus bedrock
