Our responses to your concerns follow in the order presented in your <br />letter. <br />1. The Applicant acknowledges that potential changes to the mitigation plan may <br />require a submittal to the DMG in the form of a Technical Revision or an <br />Amendment to the permit. <br />Rule 6.4.12 Exhibit L -Reclamation Costs <br />2. According to our calculations, there will eventually be approximately 6,000 feet of <br />mined highwall that require backfilling and grading. The maximum length of <br />highwall that will not be backfilled during mining activities at any one time will be <br />3,000 feet. <br />I hope that this correspondence addresses your concerns adequately and that a <br />decision from the Division can be now be made.
