Plan <br />A. The material will be mined in such a manner as to leave <br />a bowl-like depression in the hill. <br />B. Available soil will be stripped and stock-piled on the <br />north side of the pit. When mining is complete, affected <br />area will be covered with the stock-piled soil and revege- <br />tated. <br />' C. No new slopes will be left steeper than 3:1. <br />D. The proposed excavation will have some effect on drainage <br />as the bowl area will retain some runoff water. <br />E. The present land is used for grazing - the future use will <br />be for grazing. <br />F. The mining in the area will have minor effect on wildlife. <br />G. The timetable for seeding will be: <br />2 days spreading overburden <br />1 day soil preparation <br />1 day seeding <br />Total reclamation time: 4 days <br />
