The material will be grass hay or cereal grain straw. (Both <br />referred to as straw in these recommendations) <br />3.) The normal rate of application shall be l~,000 pounds per acre <br />oT air-dry material. <br />4.) At least 50 percent of the mulch by weight shall be 10 inches <br />or more in length. <br />5.) The straw will be free of noxious weeds. <br />6.)
