FREI - LVALSTRL7YI h7INE <br />hiLRB APPLICATIOAT 883-33 <br />ADDENDUh1 <br />Tlie following paragraphs are to be added to MLRB application <br />883-33 at page 8 after the fifth complete paragraph. <br />In order to control sediment runoff after mining starts the <br />operator plans to construct a sediment pond at both of the <br />drainage points from the property. The ponds will each be <br />approximately 200 feet by 50 feet with a depth of 3 to 5 feet. <br />sediment builds up it will be cleaned out and stored in spoil <br />stockpiles. These stockpiles will be used later in revegetation <br />the bench areas. Construction will be such that when the water <br />slows its runoff and the sediments drop out the clear water will <br />overflow the pond and run into the normal existing drainage. <br />As <br />of <br />Tlie first pond will be located at the west end of the <br />property just before the water reaches the existing drainage in <br />the west ravine. As mining progresses eastward the second <br />drainage will be reached when mining is about 50a complete. when <br />this centraldrainage point is reached a second sediment pond vaill <br />be constructed to handle drainage from further east. <br />
