<br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING LANU USE ZONING DISTRICTS WITHIN UNINCORPORATED AREAS <br />IN BOULDER COUNTY, COLORADO ADOPTING MAPS OF SAID AREAS AND ZONING DISTRICTS <br />THEREIN; REGULATING THE USE OF LAND AND THE USE, MINIMUM LOT AREA, MINIMUM <br />'~ LOT WIDTH, MINIMUM LOT FRONTAGE, MItJIMUM YARDS AND MAXIMUM HEIGHT FOR BUILDINGS; <br />PROVIDING SPECIAL REGULATIONS FOR NON-CONFORMING USES AND NON-CONFORMING <br />BUILDINGS; DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USED HEREIN; AND PRESCRIBING METHODS FOR <br />ENFORCEMENT, AMENDMENT, VARIANCES, SPECIAL PERMITS, INTERPRETATION, SEPARABILITY <br />,~~ AND REPEALS. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />-~ O F <br />~ BOULDER COUNTY, COLORADO: <br />^ SECTION I <br />~'~ <br />ENACTING CLAUSES <br />1.1 PURPOSE <br />These regulations are designed and enacted for the purpose of promoting the <br />health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare of the <br />' present and future inhabitants of Boulder County, Colorado, by: lessening <br />congestion in the streets and roads; reducing the waste of excessive amounts <br />' of roads; securing safety from fire and other dangers; providing adequate <br />light and air; classifying land uses and the distribution of land development <br />and utilization; protecting the tax base; securing economy in governmental <br />-j expenditures; fostering Boulder County's economic base; and protecting both <br />urban and non-urban development.
