• 2.04.8 Climatological Information <br />(1) The Bowie No. 2 Mines lies on a south facing slope within <br />the North Fork Valley at the old townsite of Bowie. At <br />the mine the valley is fairly wide with steep sides and <br />follows a general east west orientation. The topographic <br />variation in west central Colorado results in marked <br />fluctuation in the seasonal and average precipitation and <br />temperature for the entire year. <br />(1)(a) <br />• <br />• <br />P6PMIS APPLIGTIOB <br />The mean monthly precipitation. <br />The closest weather station to the permit area where <br />precipitation data is available is the Wilcox Ranch <br />Station. This weather station was located just east of <br />Bowie in the Hubbard Creek Drainage. The period of <br />record for this station is from 1948 to 1983.
