`J
Exhibit G
Water Information
The mining of the permit area is not expected t~ alter any
hydrolic balances. No stream, tributaries, or springs exist on
the property. No ground water is anticipated to ae effected
since the eluvium is v~ry thin over most of the perm~t area and
none of the formulations are known to be aquifers. Some water
will be liberated from the excavating and exposing ofthe deeper
eluvium which is frozen. This minor source will be c~ptured and
incorporated into the mine water.
The course tails (2"+) will be dewatered as th~y come otf
the vibrating grizzly. The 2-inch plus will be piled IInd allowed
• to drain and then mucked to temporary tailing ].ocaflion^. All
draining tailing piles will be constructed so that the~free water
will re-enter to the mine reservoir. This will eliminate any
•
erosion from draining tails.
No toxic materials will be present in the tails and all
discharged water, if any, will have its suspended solilds removed
to practical and legal limits. I~,
The portable plant will use an estimated 2,500 all.ons per
minute. This will be for eight hours a day for appro imately 44
days a season and approximately 86 days of 18 hours pe day. Due
to the high ground moisture and lack of evaporation, only about 5
percent of the water used is lost. This will requir~ approxi-
mately 43.73 acre feet of water per year to run the pant.
16
