Gaylord
We appreciate your referring to us Mr. Donald A. Gaylord's letter
regarding the subject application.
As stated in his letter, he is concerned about dust control and
working hours. The Colorado Health Department periodically
inspects our operations to assure that we are in compliance
with the pollution laws of our state. Our county special use
permit limits our processing and extraction to daylight hours
on the property that Mr. Gaylord refers to in his letter.
As for the hauling, our special use permit has a restriction and
I quote: "Egress and ingress for the delivery and haul vehicles
shall not pass thru the West Park residential area, but shall be
limited to roads provided by the owner or operator of the sand
and gravel operation on roads or accesses to be established or
provided East and/or lJest below the presently existing "Bluff"
to Hwy. 96 to the West, or to Pueblo Boulevard extended, to the
East and/or North to West 11th St.", unquote.
We plan to observe these restrictions and State Laws and feel
that Mr. Gaylord's concerns are adequately covered by law or
conditions of the special use permit. We believe it unnecessary
and repetitive to add these restrictions to our permit.
Yours truly,
~~ ~~
Frank Joge ~
Executive`Vice President
amm
xc: Mr. Donald A.
