• Exbibit B <br />(to Coal Lease Agreement effective January 1, 2001) <br />Legal Description of approximately 3,142 acres in Las Animas County Colorado <br />All that certain lot, tract or pazcel or la~,d lying and situated on the Beaubien, <br />MirandalMaxwell Land Grant, and being a contiguous portion of Tract 2 of 17,465.39 acres & <br />Tract 7 of 140.45 acres, both being fully described in Trustee's Deed from William M. Bass, <br />Trustee to B.F. Hill dba Hill Ranch and F.R. Ffill, Jr. dba F.E. Hill Company, recorded on 8-3- <br />1994, in Book 906, page 745 of tl,e Las Animas County Records and being more particu]arly <br />described as follows: <br />Said 3,142 acres generally lie South of the North line of the Maxwell Grvrt, Southeast of <br />Cow Canyon, North of Puertocito Canyon, West of Lorencito Canyon and contains all of the <br />Lorencito Canyon 5 yeaz Mining Plan attached as Exhibit C hereto and said 3,142 acres may be <br />later described by metes and bounds within the confines of the above physical limitations. <br />Aforesaid 3,142 acres shall include only the Southeastern most piece of irrigated land out <br />of said Tract 7 of 140.45 acres.
