Box 2370 <br />Durango, CO 81302 <br />Mr. Bob Oswald, Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Sireet,Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />RE: Westside Gravel, File No. M-2003-003, New 112C Application <br />Preliminary Adequacy Review - ~FS ~ o N S ~ S F(Z o ~..i <br />Dear Mr. Oswald, <br />°%~~s; AY~S~ <br />00 0~ M'oeruis ooh Cepv <br />6y <br />~~ Y /1 <br />~/vis ~o hg~o Fie <br />Minera/~~~e <br />Q?p~tc,4ur- / $Geo~Oej, <br />In response to your April il, 2003 Preliminary Adequacy Review Letter we offer the following: <br />Please note that the responses are labeled and correspond to the related paragraph number in your <br />letter. <br />Exhibit C -Pre-mining and Mining Plan Maos <br />Pp #1: The proposed permit area is the western halt of the 200 acre parcel as delineated by the <br />perimeter description of the pre-mining and mining maps. <br />Pp #Z: Parcel numbers Ref # 25709 and Ref #25715 (assuming this was the unidentified parcel <br />instead of the 25719 referred to in your letter) both belong to the Newbold Family Trust who are <br />also owners of parcels #26001 and 25814 and were previously notified. <br />Pp #3: Robert P. Johnson is the Managing Member of Durango PTR Properties, LLC as shown on the <br />attached Articles of Organization (enclosure 1) filed with the Colorado Secretary of State. <br />Pp #4: The metes and bounds perimeter description shown on the previously submitted maps was a <br />boundary of the property leased by Westside Grovel which would be the "permit area boundary°. <br />The °affect¢d area boundary° is clearly defined on the revised maps. The proposed permit acreage <br />is reduced from the previously stated 100 acres to $~~acres by defining the unaffected areas. <br />Pp #5: Revised maps were prepared by Craig Surveying and Mapping and are signed and dated. <br />Pp#6: The scale has been corrected on all maps. <br />Pp #7: Fence lines near the permit boundary ore shown on the revised maps. Property owners are <br />also shown. The fence lines are owned by the property owners on either side of the fences. If the <br />gas pipeline is relocated during the life of this permit Westside Gravel will update the effected <br />mops. <br />
