Sunset St., Suite 1-F <br />Longmont, CO 80501 <br />Parties to the Hearing ~ <br />Dear Ms. Brunk/Flanders /Parties: <br />Re: APPLICATION REVISED, CHANGE CONSIDERATION DATE, RESCHEDULE <br />FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING, Tucson South Resource 112 Permit Application, File No. <br />M-2004-044 ~ <br />On November 22, 2004, the Division received Tetra Tech RMC's response to the Division's <br />October 20, 2004 adequacy review of Aggregate Industries-WCR, Ines permit application for <br />the proposed Tucson South Resource gravel operation. The response includes changes and <br />additions that constitute Technical Revisions to the application. The response includes the <br />addition of a new document titled "Technical Specificafions For The Construction of Tucson <br />South Resource Slurry Wall." Also included, is a substantially changed Slope Stability Analysis <br />and the addition of an Erosion Control Plan for the West Fill Area. The response also adds much <br />new information that must be considered before Exhibit L -Reclamation Costs can be reviewed <br />for adequacy. <br />The Division must have sufficient time to review the changes and additions for adequacy. Also, <br />objectors to the application must be given an opportunity to know what changes have been made <br />to the application and be given sufficient time to evaluate them, prior to the Formal Public <br />Hearing. Therefore, in accordance with Rule 1 Section 4.9(2), the Division has set December 17, <br />2004 as a new date for Office consideration of the application. On or before that date, the <br />Division will issue its recommendation and rationale for the recommendation to the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Boazd and all Parties to the Formal Public Hearing. The Hearing has <br />been rescheduled for the Board's January 19-20, 2005 meeting, to be held in room 318, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, commencing at 10:00 am each day, unless otherwise noticed. <br />Please contact the Board's secretary, Glenda Williams, at (303) 866-3929,or me a few days in <br />Office of Office of Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines Geological Survey <br />
