<br />Mining Notes:
<br />1. All mining areas shall be enclosed by a 72" chain link fence
<br />with 3 strands of barb wire.
<br />2. Sloping - For area proposed for a permanent lake, temporary
<br />vertical slopes may be employed provided that final slopes
<br />are constructed to 3 to 1 slopes to 10' below water line,
<br />then 2 to 1 to the depth of the lake. The floor of the pit
<br />will be left in a reasonably smooth condition.
<br />3. Adams County Approval - County Case Number 120 -A5 C. An
<br />amended application is also being processed through Adams
<br />County.
<br />4. Mining may come up to within 10' of property line as per
<br />original Adams County approval - "No excavation or processing
<br />of sand and gravel shall be permitted within 10' to adjacent
<br />property, easement, or irrigation ditch or right -of- way ".
<br />S. A11 areas shall be maintained in such a manner as to prevent
<br />soil erosion, fugitive dust, and growth of noxious weeds.
<br />A 1 1 internal haul roads shall be kept in a dust free
<br />condition.
<br />b. The portable crusher, wash plant, other equipment,
<br />intermittent haul roads, and material stockpiles may be moved
<br />throughout the permit area in order to accommodate mining
<br />and /or reclamation. However, such uses may not take place
<br />over any topsoil storage. I —
<br />7. Mining shall take place in accordance with these plans, with
<br />previous and /or future Adams County and MLRB approvals, and
<br />be in conformance with applicable State and County
<br />regulations regarding mining.
<br />8. Hours of Operation - Except for emergencies and equipment
<br />maintenance, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday thru Saturday.
<br />9. San -o -lets and bottled water will be employed for water and
<br />sanitation during mining and rehabilitation.
<br />10. Primary haul route to Nome Street then south to U.S. 85.
