Natural aggr-e gates under-
lying the river property are part of the Louviers and Post-Piney
Creek alluvial deposits, laid dov+n by the ancestral South Platte
River. These deposits are ;r reserved in the river floodplain
along its ~vestern side. Rack debris washed out of the mountains
by fire ancestral South Platte River was reduced largely to sand
by the time it reached the general area of the river property.
A substantial percent.aae of the de,nosits of natural aggregate
underlying the river property are presently commercial. Eighteen
drill holes, with a total footage of 579', and an avera4e sample
interval of 5.1' mere romp leted for this estimate. Samples were
analyzed for size gradation in the labo!-atory, and this dat• was
reviewed as part of a geological analysis.
Conclusions
1.
