Table 13-1 lists all conveyors, including widths <br />and lengths. <br /> <br />• <br />The Operator has an understanding with Lodestar Energy, Inc., that the Operator <br />will enter into a mutually acceptable agreement with Lodestar for its use of the <br />unit train loadout. Lodestar is actively pursuing coal sales that will require use of <br />the unit train loadout. The Operator is also pursuing other commercial uses of <br />the loadout and the underlying land. <br />Lodestar plans to haul coal from its McClave Canyon mine and stockpile it over <br />the reclaim tunnel. The coal will be pushed up or stockpiled with a portable <br />stacker conveyor. The size of the stockpile will not exceed 50,000 tons. Unit <br />trains will be loaded periodically utilizing the reclaim tunnel, feeders, reclaim belt, <br />loadout structure and the unit train loadout track. The truck scales will be used <br />on occasion. The overland conveyor and linear stacker will not be utilized by <br />Lodestar. The substation at the north portal supplies electrical power to the <br />loadout via an overhead power line. <br />2.05.3(4) Ponds, Impoundments and Diversions <br />(a)(i) There are 9 sediment ponds, 3non-discharging sumps, 1 sewage lagoon <br />system and multiple collection ditches, diversions, stream channel <br />reconstructions and culverts within the permit area. A general description, <br />location, and cross-section references for each drainage control structure are <br />listed in Table 13-6. In accordance with Rule 4.05.2(3), Table 13-7 contains a <br />list of areas that are not within the runoff collection area of a sediment pond. <br />The list includes a description of the area and means of sediment control. <br />Runoff calculations are given in Appendix 13-3. <br />All ponds, sumps, diversion ditches and collection ditches are relatively small in <br />area and shallow in depth. Construction of each is confined to the upper <br />alluvium above the water table. Negligible hydrologic impact is anticipated as a <br />result of drainage structures temporarily containing water. The extent of coal <br />extraction below sediment ponds, drainage ditches, impoundments and diversion <br />ditches was minimal; therefore, negligible subsidence effects are predicted. <br />Each structure is located in competent geologic stratum requiring no <br />geotechnical investigation. <br />13-5 (Rev. 12/02) <br />
