OF NATO, <br />Denver Colorado 80203 w- sE`c:z:Gs <br />Gentlemen: <br />RE: May, Helling, Newland, <br />ur Rockcrusher <br />an Groves Gravel Pits <br />In accordance with Rule 2, Regular Mining Operations, <br />Section 116 (1)(a) 2.41, Annual Reports, Yuma County <br />offers the following information: <br />During 1982 Yuma County did not engage in any mining <br />or reclamation operations in the Helling, Mekelburg, <br />or Newland Gravel Pits. There are no plans at this <br />time to do any mining in these pits in 1983. <br />The County will move into the May Gravel Pit in March, <br />1983. The plans are to work in a Northerly direction, <br />as was done in the previous years. Total acreage to <br />be disturbed in 1983 will be approximately 1/4 acre. <br />The County will move into the Rockcrusher Gravel Pit <br />on May of 1983. Again, mining will be in a Northerly <br />direction, with approximately 1/4 acre disturbed. <br />The Groves Gravel Pit will be worked in a Southerly <br />direction with 1/4 acre disturbed. <br />Yuma County has not begun any reclamation operations <br />in any of the existing gravel pits. <br />If there are any questions, please feel free to contact <br />this office, or the office of the Road Supervisor, <br />Harold Blazer, at 332-5718. <br />Sincerely, <br />Denise R. ohnson <br />Administrative Assistant <br />
