<br />Exhibit B - Mining Plan <br />• <br />A) The overburden, containing Baca-Wiley silt loams, will be removed <br />to a depth of at least 6" by the Contractor and stockpiled in the <br />Southwest designated area. <br />B) Sand and Gravel will be excavated with dozers and front-end loaders <br />and fed into the plant for processing and transported to the project <br />by truck. <br />C) Specific mining methods will be at the discretion of the Contractor. <br />D) There will be no ground water or surface water rights involved in <br />the operation as no ground water table is anticipated. <br />E) The affected area covers less than 9 acres. <br />F) The mined area will cover approximateiy 6 acres at an approximate <br />depth of S.0 feet. <br />G) No mote than 65,000 tons of material will be excavated including <br />approximately 7,000 tons of overburden. <br />H) The material to be mined will be sand and gravel. <br />• I) Time table of operations: <br />The project will be let in late June 1977 with a contract time of <br />80 days and the termination date occurring in late summer or early <br />fall. <br />• <br />
