As requested, we visited the project site on this date to conduct nuclear density test No.'s 40 through 41 on the
material being placed.
The excavation contractor, Precision Excavating, placed and compacted approximately 6" of Ctass 5 road base
matenal on [he haul road 8 being constructed atljacent to the relocated pond E.
In addition. we obtained a sample of the material, Sample No. 3, and returned it to our laboratory for modified
Proctor and classification testing.
Remarks:
the matenal tested generally met project specifications with moisture contents being 1.1% to 1.4% below
optimum.
