The ponds are located
schematically on Energy Mine No. 3 Surface Water Hydrology
(Energy Fuels Map 8). In accordance with Rule 4.05.6, the
ponds are designed to detain the inflow from runoff produced
• as the result of the 10-year, 24-hour duration precipitation
event to allow removal of suspended sediment.
This report describes the hydrologic investigation and the
hydraulic design for the ponds which have been undertaken by
Leonard Rice Consulting Water Engineers, Inc. (LRCWE). Base
mapping having scales of one inch to 500 feet and one inch to
200 feet and a contour interval of five feet was provided by
Energy Fuels.
•
Leonard Rice Consulting Water Engineers.lnc.
