Go <br />approximately 8 miles east to Boulder/Weld County Line Road and turn north. Go north 3.5 miles and <br />turn east. Go east approximately 3 miles. Site is on north side of road at the corner of Weld County Road <br />7 and Rinn Road. <br />Date(s) of Survey: July 16. 2001 <br />Population Data: No Spiranthes diluvialis observed <br />(If the species is present, provide information about population size, extent, reproduction status, disease, <br />predation, or other important features. <br />Number of Individuals: 0 <br />Phenological Status: Bud: (%) Fruit: (%) Flower: (%) <br />Estimated Amount of Potential Habitat (acres): Less than 1.0 acres <br />General Site Description: See accompanyine wetlands delineation report <br />Geology: Floodplain and Channel of Idaho Creek Aspect: Site is essentially flat <br />Soil: Clayey soils that are somewhat alkaline/saline Slope: Site is essentially flat <br />Associated Taxa: Red top (A~rostis stolonifera) was observed in the wetlands on the site. While <br />listed as a [axon associated with Ute Ladies Tresses Orchid. this species is widespread and occurs on <br />many sites where the orchid species does not occur. A list of all species observed in the wetlands on the <br />site is included in the accompanvinQ wetland delineation report. <br />Weather: Sunny to partly cloudy Elevation: 4870 feet <br />Moisture Status: Sites alone stream channel were moist. Some standine water in irri¢ation return <br />flow and flood irrigated areas. <br />Habitat Quality Comments: Portions of the study site could possibly have acceptable habitat for Ute <br />Ladies Tresses Orchid, however no orchids or species commonly associated with the orchid (except for <br />red top) were noted. <br />Disturbance: Most of the site is razed b cattle <br />I.D.
