<br />WIIEIZI:AS, a public hearing was held on May 24, 1076, in the
<br />chambers of the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado,
<br />for the purpose of heal ing the petition of Melvin Leib, fierce, Colorado,
<br />(Ayers Land) rcyucsting permission to locate a gravel pit operation on the
<br />following described property:
<br />That part of the East Ilalf (I;;) of the Northeast G~uarter (NE4)
<br />of Section 7, Township 8 North, Range 65 West of the 6th
<br />Principal Ill ~•idian, \Veld County, Colorado, being more
<br />particularly described as follows:
<br />Beginning at the Northeast Corner of said Section 8, said
<br />point being the True Point of Beginning and considering the
<br />East lino of the Northeast C,luarter (NEB) of said Section 7
<br />- as hearing South O1°20'50" East, with all bearings contained
<br />herein being relative thereto;

<br />WIIL;Rh~AS, there ~tias no opposition to the request of petition for
<br />the location of said gravel pit operation, and
<br />WIIEItIsAS, the said requested gravel pit operation is located in an
<br />agricultural zone as set forth by the Weld County "Coning Resolution, and
<br />Wllh.'REAS, according Io Section 3, 3 (8) and Section 6.1 ("r.) of the
<br />Zoning Resolution of Weld County, said ,gravel pit operation may be authorized
<br />upon the approval of the l~'cld County Planning Commission and tt,e Board of
<br />County Commissioners of Weld County, and
<br />WIILI{I;AS the 13uard of County C:ummissionurs heard all the testi-
<br />mony and statements of those present; Iran studied the request of the petitioner
<br />and studied the recommcnriations of the Weld County Planning Commission and
<br />having been fully infornu.d;

<br />Commissioners, that tho application of Melvin (;eib, Pierce, Colorado,
<br />(Ayers land) to locale a gravol pct operation nn the premises indicated above
<br />be, and it hec•ahy is granted under the conditions following:
<br />1, 'f hat any water and sanitation facilities to be installed shall be
<br />approved by the State Ilealth Department.
<br />3. That pclilioncr shall pr•orecd with due diligence to effect con-
<br />struction of said gravel pit operation and that he shall have up to one year
<br />from date hereof Io h~~gin the c onstruction of same; otherwise, the Board
<br />ma~•, for good cause shown, on its own motion, revoke the permit herein
<br />granted.
