The County
intends, at present, to open pit mine a less than ten
(10) acre portion of the forty (40) acre parcel near
county road number two (2).
it is my understanding that the power line (115,00 Volt-
9812 line, between Poncha Springs and Canon City) which
crosses this area belongs to your agency. There appears
to be an "H" pole located on the parcel, but with forty
(40) acres in which to locate a less than ten (30) acre
pit, there should be no problem with disturbing this
pole location. Fremont County is willing to cooperate
with any standards your agency requires, as to distance
from the pole. I would like to be sure there is no
problem with the pole location and ingress and egress of
County equipment and vehicles across your easement.
In preparation of a Mined Land Reclamation Division 110
permit application on this project there is information
such as your easement documentation, description and
survey, as built line location and height that would be
very helpful. I would be very appreciative for any.of
this information you could provide me with. An on-site
meeting maybe helpful, as we would like to gain as much
input as possible so that our project impacts your
agency's improvements and operation in the least
possible way.
