Notice To Parties And Interested Persons To Aggregate Industries- WCR, Ines Application For
The Tucson South Resource, 112c Reclamation Permit Application

Dear Party to the Hearing:
The Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) has received objections to Aggregate Industries'
application for a Reclamation Permit for their proposed Tucson South Resource gravel operation.
The DMG has set the application for a Hearing before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation
Boazd. Aggregate Industries extended the consideration date for their application to November
19, 2004. The Boazd will conduct a Formal Public Hearing on the application during their
November 17-18, 2004 meeting to be held in room 318, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado
commencing at 10:00 am or as soon thereafter as the matter can be considered. Parties to the
hearing and interested persons will have the opportunity to be heazd.
A Pre-Hearing Conference has been scheduled for 10:00 am October 12, 2004 in Rm. 719, 1313
Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado. Ms. Sandra Brown will preside as Pre-Hearing Conference
Officer. The purpose of the conference is to describe the Office's permit application review
process, to explain the rights and responsibilities of parties, to discuss and resolve issues to the
extent possible, to determine the list of issues under the Board's jurisdiction and to determine
who has demonstrated standing to be party to the Formal Boazd Hearing.
Please review the enclosed informational memo "Citizen Participation in the 112 Reclamation
Permit Application Process, revised October 19, 2001." Complete either of the last two pages, if
applicable, and return the form to me or bring it to the Pre-Hearing Conference.
